Shanna Rose | WV Sports Chat MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia women’s basketball team learned Saturday it will host the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament. On Sunday, the Mountaineers learned their opponent. No. 4-seeded WVU will face No. 13-seeded Miami (Ohio) in Regional 3. No. 5-seeded Kentucky and No. 12-seeded James Madison will meet in the other first-round game, with the winners advancing to play Monday. The Mountaineers (27-6) hold a 44-5 record at Hope Coliseum in head coach Mark Kellogg’s three seasons. The only NCAA Tournament games played in Morgantown came in 1992, when the field consisted of just 48 teams.
