MORGANTOWN, WV – Moments ago, Rich Rodriguez and the WVU Football program secured yet another defensive commitment in the 2027 recruiting class. Broncs Baker, a linebacker from Tooele, Utah, took to X on Friday morning to officially announce his commitment to the Mountaineers.
Baker is a three-star prospect, according to 247Sports. He currently holds multiple offers from various Power Four programs, including Virginia Tech, Michigan, Arizona State, Kansas State, and California. The Utah native becomes the 5th player to commit to WVU’s 2027 class.
247Sports currently has the Mountaineers’ 2027 class ranked 37th in the nation.
