Aisosa (6-foot-3, 331-pounds) was a consensus three-star prospect out of Santa Fe High School in Edmond, Oklahoma, and was the No. 15 player in Oklahoma and the No. 104 interior offensive lineman in the 2024 recruiting rankings.
He earned Central Oklahoma Athletic Conference Offensive Lineman of the Year and Class 6A-1 District 2 Offensive Lineman of the Year honors as a senior.
In 2024, Aisosa did not appear in any games last season for the Sooners, but he was in line to receive more playing time as a backup in the 2025 season before entering the transfer portal on April 18.
He chose to stay in-state at Oklahoma over offers from Iowa State, Navy, North Texas, Tulsa, and UNLV.
Despite redshirting last season, Aisosa is a potential fit because of his collegiate exposure, and he has four years left of eligibility. West Virginia needs to replace all five starters from last year’s roster and seven of its eight top offensive linemen, so there is an avenue for Aisosa to start right away.
West Virginia would like to add one or two bodies that they can count on game day, as they now have 19 offensive linemen on the roster.
