The West Virginia Mountaineers and the Virginia Cavaliers will meet on May 12, 2027 for an in-season non-conference battle.
This will be the Mountaineers second consecutive season playing in Hagerstown with last year going the Mountaineers way with a 3-1 victory over Penn State.
This will be the 14th time in the schools history that they’ve battled on the diamond with UVa holding an 8-5 edge on the diamond.
Last year WVU made its first ever trip to the College World Series while UVa was eliminated from the NCAA Tournament (Hattiesburg Regional) by Jax State.
The details of the game will be released at a future date.
