According to a source around 1:00 p.m. it was noted to WV Sports Chat that West Virginia and the Marshall midweek contest was canceled.
Later in the day on Wednesday, the WVU baseball sent out a release confirming our report that the game was canceled.
The Mountaineers will return home this weekend for a series against Columbia. First pitch on Friday is set for 2 p.m.
