Former West Virginia wide receiver Mario Alford still has it.
Known for his blazing speed and dramatic kickoff returns during his time in Morgantown, Alford’s electrifying kick and punt returns have carried over to the Canadian Football League.
His recent 99-yard kickoff return clinched a dramatic 39-32 victory for the Saskatchewan Roughriders over the Toronto Argonauts.
Alford now has a Saskatchewan franchise record nine return touchdowns.
