WVU Adds Former Seton Hill Infielder Owen Henne

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Former Seton Hill infielder Owen Henne announced his commitment to West Virginia via his Instagram on Wednesday.

Henne spent three seasons at Division II Seton Hill, the same program that produced current Mountaineer pitcher Ian Korn. This season, the Pine-Richland High School product hit .401 with a .489 on-base percentage and a .592 slugging mark, driving in 39 runs, scoring 45 times, and adding five home runs across 43 games (42 starts).

The Pine-Richland High School alum slashed .401/.489/.592 with 39 RBI, 45 runs scored and five home runs through 43 games (42 starts) this season. He also is a solid defensive acquisition with a career .971 fielding percentage.
