Morgantown, WV – Ross Hodge and staff are hard at work in the NCAA Transfer Portal. After an already impressive haul, the program now has arguably their most impressive addition via the Big East.
According to Jonathan Givony of DraftExpress, St. John’s transfer guard Joson Sanon has committed to West Virginia University. Sanon, a former five-star recruit, will have two seasons of eligibility remaining. In 37 appearances during the 2025-26 season, the Massachusetts native averaged 7.9 points and 2.4 rebounds per game.

Prior to joining the Red Storm, Sanon spent a season with the Arizona State Sun Devils – where he averaged 11.9 points and 3.4 rebounds per game.
