MORGANTOWN, W.Va.- Miles Sadler scored 25 points and had six assists as West Virginia pummeled Stetson 91-53 at the Hope Coliseum on Friday night.
Joson Sanon made 6-of-8 from beyond the arc and finished with 18 points for the Mountaineers (2-0). Finley Bizjack tallied 13 points and Mo Sylla 11.

At the half, the Mountaineers led 43-30.
“In the second half, I felt like we did a better job of keeping the ball out of the paint area and when guys had misses we were able to get some rebounds,” WVU head coach Ross Hodge said. “Going into the last media (timeout), I think we were at 17 assists and four turnovers, and I thought we shared the ball.
“Again, it’s going to be a strength-in-numbers type of team, and some nights maybe it is this guy and some nights maybe it’s that guy, so all in all, we can just keep getting better. We can get a lot better and that’s where my mind goes watching this and there’s not an individual that I’ve watched that I think, ‘He can’t get better.”
The Mountaineers had a 46-32 edge on the boards and forced 13 turnovers.
WVU’s bench scored 34 points and dominated the Hatters (0-3) in the paint 36-22.
Sean Morgan led Stetson with 15 points and Collin Kuhl had 12.
The Mountaineers shot 50 percent from the floor, 42 percent from 3-point range and made 16-of-23 from the charity stripe.
The Hatters shot 35 percent from the field and 26 percent from long range while making 7-of-20 from the free throw line.
For the second straight game, every WVU player dressed saw action.
The Mountaineers face Mercer on Thursday, Nov. 12 at 7 p.m. in the final home game before heading to Las Vegas for the Players Era Tournament.
