Morgantown, WV – WVU infielder Brodie Kresser has officially closed the book on his collegiate career. After three seasons with the Mountaineers, the Iowa native took to Instagram to bid farewell to West Virginia University and Mountaineer Nation.

Here is what Kresser had to say about his departure, as well as his time with the Mountaineers:

The past three years at West Virginia have been the best of my life, both on and off the field. Making history three years in a row with this team is something I’ll cherish forever. Thank you to my teammates, coaches, support staff, and the incredible Mountaineer fans for making this journey so special.

Above all, thank You, God, for Your faithfulness and for blessing me every step of the way. Forever grateful. Once a Mountaineer, always a Mountaineer.

Kresser transferred to WVU from Des Moines Area Community College prior to the 2024 season. He finished his career with a .284 batting average, 99 RBIs, 32 stolen bases, and 9 home runs.
