Morgantown, WV – Earlier today, Rich Rodriguez and the West Virginia Mountaineers secured a commitment from another prospect in the 2027 recruiting class. In a post on X, Luke Linder, a 247Sports three-star tight end out of Georgia, announced his intentions to attend West Virginia University.

Linder currently holds offers from various FBS programs around the nation. Among the schools to offer him include Cincinnati, Troy, East Carolina, and Georgia Southern.
With Linder’s commitment, the Mountaineers now hold the 28th ranked recruiting class in the nation for 2027, per 247Sports.
