MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia added another piece to its future recruiting class, securing a commitment from 2028 pitcher Tyler Puffer.
The 6-foot-8, 205-pound right-hander throws a four-seam fastball, curveball, slider and changeup. His fastball has been clocked at 90 mph and is expected to gain velocity as he gets stronger.
Puffer hails from McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania, and he also plays third base for Montour High School.
