Morgantown, WV – Yesterday, the WVU Football program announced that their 2027 contest against the Ohio Bobcats has been moved. According to the press release, the matchup against the Bobcats will now take place during week zero of the 2027 season on August 28th.
This is the second game of a three-game contract between the Mountaineers and Bobcats. West Virginia last played Ohio in 2025, losing 17-10.
