Morgantown, WV – Last season, the WVU Football program brought back the glossy blue helmets for the first time since 2012. This, to no surprise, was a huge hit with fans all across the nation. Today, they have revealed that their white helmet will be getting the same treatment.
In a post on X, the Mountaineers revealed that their white helmets will also have the glossy finish moving forward.
At this time, the Mountaineers have four helmet choices. The gold helmets, donned from the 2013 to 2024, have seemingly been phased out.
It remains to be seen if WVU will add the glossy finish to any of their remaining helmets.
