WVU Football Lands Commitment from 2027 Receiver

Morgantown, WV – Earlier this afternoon, Rich Rodriguez and the WVU Football program landed a commitment from a talented 2027 wide receiver. In a post on X, Brock Burrus, a 247Sports three-star receiver from Marietta, Georgia, announced that he will be attending West Virginia University.

Burrus currently holds offers from many Power Four programs across the nation. Among the teams to offer him include Pitt, Florida, Tennessee, and Vanderbilt.

Standing at 6’5” and weighing 190 pounds, Burrus has the build to be a dominant receiver in Rodriguez’s offense.

WVU’s 2027 recruiting class now ranks 29th in the nation, according to 247Sports.
