WVU Football Flips 2027 Penn State Commit

Morgantown, WV – Earlier this morning, Rich Rodriguez and the WVU Football program scored a massive win on the recruiting trail. According to Hayes Fawcett of Rivals, 2027 Penn State commit Zachary Gleason has flipped his pledge to West Virginia University.

Gleason, a 247Sports three-star cornerback, originally committed to Penn State on March 31st. The Pennsylvania native has garnered attention from various FBS programs across the nation. Among the schools to offer him include Kentucky, Cincinnati, Pitt, Virginia Tech, and Rutgers.

WVU’s 2027 recruiting class now currently ranked 32nd in the nation, according to 247Sports.
