Morgantown, WV – Moments ago, Fox officially revealed their 2026 College Football Friday slate. The Mountaineers, who have one Friday night game on the schedule this season, were included in this press release.
WVU is set to take on the Utah Utes in Salt Lake City on November 27th – Black Friday. According to a post on X by Brett McMurphy of On3, this game is set to kickoff at “8 or 9 PM,” while broadcasting on Fox.
This will mark the fourth time in the respective history of the programs that they have met on the gridiron. Utah currently holds a 3-0 advantage over the Mountaineers, winning the most recent matchup in 2025, 48-14.
In the coming weeks, kickoff times and networks are expected to be revealed for WVU Football’s early season matchups. Stay tuned to WV Sports Chat for updates.
