Hauser is a 3-star recruit in the 2027 class according to 247 Sports. If his last name sounds familiar, it should. His father is none other than Cole Hauser; the actor who played Rip Wheeler on the popular television series, Yellowstone.
The West Palm Beach, FL native took an unofficial visit to Morgantown on March 10. Earlier this week, he received an official offer from Rich Rodriguez, along with a home visit from Lead Offensive Assistant Travis Trickett.
Thank You @CoachTTrickett For Taking Time Out Of You Day To Talk To Me and My Family About @WVUfootball On A Home Visit. Looking Forward to Coming Up To Morgantown In The Summer!! #HailWVU pic.twitter.com/znum7ynML9

The offer list continues to grow for the Cardinal Newman High School standout. In addition to West Virginia, the 6-foot-1 inch, 280-pound lineman has received offers from North Carolina, NC State, Troy, FIU, Liberty, Navy, Rhode Island and Army. That list will likely continue to grow over the summer.
Should Hauser choose to play for WVU football, let’s hope he is as tough as the Rip character his dad played on Yellowstone; minus the train station of course.
