MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Rick Trickett returns to be offensive line coach for WVU football. This will be the veteran coach’s third tenure in Morgantown (1976-1979, 2001-2006).
Trickett has been coaching for over 50 years and is one of the most experienced offensive line coaches in the entire nation. Coach Trickett was a candidate for the position last year. Instead of taking the job, he decided to coach alongside his son, Clint Trickett, who was hired as offensive coordinator at Jacksonville State prior to last season. After one season on the Gamecocks staff, Clint Trickett was recently hired as the QB coach at Arkansas.

Upon his return to Morgantown, Rick Trickett will be coaching alongside another son, Travis Trickett. The older brother of Clint is the Lead Offensive Assistant for Rich Rodriguez.
