MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia Mountaineer football team received verbal commitments from two JUCO defensive backs on Monday.
Rashawn Reynolds, a cornerback from Hutchinson Community College in Kansas committed to the Mountaineers on social media early Monday afternoon. Less than an hour later, his defensive backfield teammate, Da’Mun Allen, also committed to WVU.
Reynolds is a 6-foot-3 187-pound cornerback who provides length and athleticism to the Mountaineer secondary. This past season at Hutchinson he had 15 total tackles, an interception and five pass breakups in nine games. He is rated as the number 15 Junior College cornerback in the 2026 class. The three-star recruit from Montgomery, AL has at least two years of eligibility remaining.

Also listed at 6-foot-3, Da’Mun Allen gives WVU football another long and athletic defensive back. The 190-pound three-star recruit recorded 25 tackles, four interceptions and two pass breakups last season at Hutchinson in ten games. The Sanford, FL native is listed as the number four JUCO cornerback in the 2026 class per 247 Sports. He also has at least two years of eligibility remaining.
