Both Harlan Obioha and Brenen Lorient had standout performances for West Virginia in their 80-54 exhibition win over Wheeling University.
- Harlan Obioha: In 19 minutes of action, Obioha recorded 19 points and pulled down eight rebounds. He was a solid 8-of-9 from the field.
- Brenen Loriant: The North Texas transfer scored 14 points and pulled down three rebounds in 25 minutes of action, while shooting 7-of-9 from the field. He also dished out two assists and had two steals on the night.
