Former West Virginia quarterback Garrett Greene found some success this preseason with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as he shifted to wide receiver.
Greene had eight catches for 65 yards and a touchdown this preseason.
Although his playing time was limited, he shined when he had the opportunity. Unfortunately, though, the 5-foot 11-inch Florida native was cut from the team on Tuesday afternoon according to Aaron Wilson, who covers the NFL.
Greene likely lands on a practice squad this season with a chance to impress another organization.
