As the 2025 college football season approaches, the latest rankings of the nation’s best stadiums has been released.

Traditionally, stadium rankings have hinged on factors like capacity, attendance records, and historical significance.

However, USA Today has flipped the script this year, releasing a ranking of the top 25 college football stadiums based not on sheer size or tradition, but on the collective voice of fans via Yelp, Tripadvisor, and Google reviews.

Among the standout venues is West Virginia University’s Mountaineer Field, which secured the No. 17 spot with an impressive 4.6/5 average rating based on over 1,200 reviews.

This ranking places it among the elite, though it trails behind the top-ranked Boone Pickens Stadium at Oklahoma State University.

17. West Virginia ‒ Milan Puskar Stadium

West Virginia opens the 2025 college football season on Saturday, August, 30 at home against Robert Morris.
