West Virginia fans firmly believe that the Mountaineers will finish the 2025 season anywhere between 4-8 to 8-4 in a recent poll that I ran on X (formerly Twitter).
Of the 190 votes, 80-percent believe the Mountaineers will finish either 4-8, 5-7, 6-6, 7-5 or 8-4 on the season.

You can choose between the *FOUR* options below.
Side note: if you want your response in the article on @WVSportsChat then leave it below, but be detailed in why they’d finish w/ your prediction to be included in the story.
Of the 190 votes, 17.9-percent believe the Mountaineers will finish the season with a 9-3, 10-2, 11-1 or 12-0 record.
And to round it out, 2.1-percent of voters believe the Mountaineers will finish 0-12, 1-11, 2-10 or 3-9 on the season.
Here are some of the responses from people who voted on the poll:
I feel like between 5-7 and 7-5 is realistic expectations with new staff and so many new players. I think it is yet to be seen how effective Rich Rod can be at this level in this era, but I do think he has some really solid players. It may come down to the 4 players waivers .

I can see us going 8-4 but nothing worse than that unless NCAA don’t allow us to play Robinson and Edwards and them if we get them it’s 9-3 and up

I believe 6-6 is the ceiling for this many new players. Add in a tough schedule and the new staff and the results are not favorable. I will say there is some good experience in the new transfers and coupled with the players that stayed, we could see some late season upsets. 🤞🏼🙏🏻
