As the 2025 college football season approaches, sports betting odds are heating up, providing a snapshot of Big 12 teams’ chances of making the College Football Playoff, courtesy of Circa Sports.
The list highlights frontrunners like Kansas State (+400), Texas Tech (+450), Utah (+450), and Arizona State (+475), while other teams like Baylor (+600), Iowa State (+825), TCU (+900), Kansas (+1200), and BYU (+1300) round out the notable odds.
Absent from this list, however, is the West Virginia Mountaineers, whose playoff odds are listed elsewhere at a steep +3500 according to BetMGM.
For context, a +3500 odds translates to a mere 2.78% chance of playoff success, a far cry from the top-tier teams.
West Virginia opens the season on Saturday, August 30, at home against Robert Morris.
