JJ Wetherholt has done nothing but produce solid numbers at the pro level since being drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals last year.
He raked in A-Ball which earned him a promotion to Double-A this year. And then before the All-Star break, he earned a promotion to Triple-A.
Since joining the Memphis club, he has done nothing but prove his worth and show that he is ready for the show.
On Friday night, Wetherholt went 4-for-5 with two doubles and a run scored for Memphis.
Wetherholt, as noted above, is now slashing 314/.432/.502 between Springfield (AA) and Memphis (AAA) this season with eight home runs and 36 RBIs this season.
