As the college football offseason heats up, Pro Football Focus (PFF) has placed a spotlight on the highest-graded returning offensive tackles in the Big 12 for the 2025 season.
West Virginia’s Mickel Clay, a transfer from North Alabama, is rated the third highest-graded offensive tackle with a grade of 77.0.
Others joining the list are a pair of Utah teammates Spencer Fano (93.0) and Caleb Lomu (75.7), and Memphis’ Xavier Hill (84.)
Clay, 6-foot-5, 278-pound offensive lineman, started every game last year for the North Alabama at right tackle. He won the starting job as a junior in 2023 and played in eight games as a sophomore in 2022.
He has one season of eligibility remaining.
