ORLANDO, Fla.–The West Virginia University baseball team completed the sweep with a 4-3 win over UCF on Sunday afternoon at John Euliano Park. It was the fourth consecutive Big 12 sweep for the Mountaineers (37-5, 16-3 Big 12).
Jack Kartsonas continued to get it done for WVU on the mound, pitching 6.2 innings while allowing three runs and striking out five.
Ben McDougal finished the final 2.1 innings with a perfect performance.

Matt Sauser suffered his first loss of the season for the Knights (23-20, 6-15). He gave up four runs on six hits in 4.2 innings.
In the first, Rinehart hit his first double of the day, scoring King and giving the Mountaineers a 1-0 lead. However, UCF answered in the home half to tie the game at 1-1.
