MORGANTOWN, W.Va.– West Virginia forward Amani Hansberry announced that he was entering his name into the transfer portal on Tuesday afternoon.

The 6-foot-8, 240-pound sophomore averaged 9.8 points and 6.5 rebounds per contest. He had 44 assists and 12 blocked shots. Before coming to Morgantown, Hansberry spent his freshman season at Illinois.
Hansberry is the fourth Mountaineer to enter the portal since it opened on Monday.
