How to Watch WVU-ASU on Friday

By: James Gravley | WV Sports Chat

The West Virginia Mountaineers took care of business on Thursday night with a 4-2 win over Kansas State and it almost certainly locks them into a hosting situation. Which everyone will find out hosting destinations and seedings for the regionals on selection day which is this Monday.

Arizona State did the same against Cincinnati with a 10-2 win.

ASU is not in the hosting conversation, but they’ll certainly be playing postseason baseball.

First Pitch: Friday, May 22nd at 11:00pm ET

Streaming: ESPN+

Earlier this season when the Mountaineers and Sun Devils squared off, ASU won game one with a run-rule, but in games two and three the Mountaineers handled the Sun Devils pretty easily.

In order for WVU to have a remote chance at winning the game on Friday, they’ll need to slow down one of the best hitters and defensive players in the Big 12 in Landon Hairston who is now the single-season home run leader as he hit homer number 28 against Cincinnati.
