West Virginia and Kansas State will face each other on Thursday with first pitch scheduled for 7:30 pm EST.
West Virginia, the No. 2 seed in the tournament, earned double-byes while Kansas State, the No. 11 seed had to play in the opening round of the tournament.
The Wildcats defeated Utah and TCU to advance to the third round of the tournament.
West Virginia swept Kansas State in the regular season by the scores of 7-0, 9-1, and 13-6.
The winner between WVU and K-State will take on the winner of Cincinnati and Arizona State in the semifinals of the Big 12 Tournament on Friday.
