West Virginia University women’s basketball coach Mark Kellogg has added another experienced transfer to the Mountaineers’ roster for the 2026-27 season.

Earlier this week, former BYU guard Marya Hudgins announced her commitment to WVU via the transfer portal. She eventually signed with the Mountaineers on Tuesday.

The 6-foot guard from Aurora, Colorado, brings significant college experience and production. Hudgins has appeared in 97 career games (47 starts) across stints at Santa Clara and BYU, accumulating 754 points, 485 rebounds, and solid efficiency from the free-throw line.

Last season at BYU, Hudgins started all 27 games she played and posted career-high averages of 9.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 1.3 steals per game. She shot 39.7% from the field, 36.7% from three-point range, and an impressive 90.0% from the free-throw line.

Hudgins will have one season of eligibility remaining at West Virginia.
