The West Virginia Mountaineers are once again coming off of a series win against the Houston Cougars and have made a jump in the latest Top 25 rankings.
According to D1Baseball, the Mountaineers have jumped three spots from No. 15 to No. 12 after the series win. This comes with WVU once again dropping a Friday night game with a lackluster performance on the mound and at the plate.
There are now three teams once again in the Big 12 ranked inside the Top 25.
WVU is ranked the highest, but Kansas jumps to No. 16 and Arizona State, who has been out of the Top 25 for a couple weeks finds themselves in play again at No. 25.
Kansas jumps up with a series win over Oklahoma State and Arizona State jumps back in with a series win over BYU.
UCF, who was in the Top 25 last couple weeks falls out of the Top 25 with a series loss to Cincinnati. The Bearcats, a team that is making strides as of late, also sees themselves in the postseason conversation but will come to blow with the Mountaineers this weekend.
