In Saturday’s 7-1 win over Houston, West Virginia utility man Gavin Kelly exited with an apparent wrist injury.
After the game an x-ray showed there were no breaks in his wrist, but it was significantly jammed.
Prior to Sunday’s game Kelly was not dressed, but was with the team in the dugout. At this time there are no other reports on this injury to Kelly, but we can possibly expect a timeline of his return later this week.
On the year Kelly has a batting average of .397 with five homers and 34 RBI.
