Morgantown, WV – The Big 12 Conference announced schedule changes for the 2026 football season earlier today. In this announcement, a select few games were moved to take weekday slots throughout the fall. West Virginia, who only played one weekday game in 2025, will now have another on their 2026 slate.
Originally scheduled for November 28th, WVU Footballβs matchup against Utah at Rice-Eccles Stadium will now be played on November 27th – Black Friday.

This will mark the second matchup between the Mountaineers and Utes as Big 12 foes. Utah convincingly won the previous contest in Morgantown, 48-14.
The kickoff time and network will be announced at a later date.
