West Virginia has offered class of 2027 forward Deng Ngor.
The 6-foot-8, forward, who attends Fort Erie International Academy in Ontario, Canada, shared the news on social media.
“Blessed to have received an offer from West Virginia University”
Ngor, originally from Calgary, Alberta, has emerged as one of the most compelling prospects in the class of 2027—particularly among Canadian talents. With a wiry, explosive frame, he plays primarily as a versatile wing capable of sliding between small forward and power forward roles.
Multiple recruiting outlets, including North Pole Hoops, rank him as Canada’s #1 prospect in the 2027 class. He’s viewed as one of the more complete, high-upside forwards available in his cycle.
The West Virginia offer marks another high-major addition to Ngor’s recruitment portfolio. Prior to this, he had already secured scholarships from programs such as Florida State, George Mason, George Washington, Colorado State and UNLV, among others.
