MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – WVU football has received a commitment from 2027 wide receiver Roscoe Hayes.

The 6-foot-6 standout chose the Mountaineers over Pitt, Kansas State, Cincinnati and NC State among others.

Hayes committed to the West Virginia football program after a “fantastic” visit to campus earlier this week.

In his junior year at Westlake High School, Hayes had 47 catches for 684 yards and six touchdowns, per MaxPreps.

At the time of this writing, the Georgia native has yet to receive a rating from 247 Sports, despite multiple power four offers.

The dual-sport athlete also excels on the hardwood. Hoop Seen currently ranks him as the number 52 high school basketball player in the state of Georgia.
