West Virginia opened its three-game series against Liberty with a 12-0 victory on Friday night.
Paul Schoenfeld led the way for West Virginia as he went 2-4 with a grand slam and drove in five runs in the process. He also collected one stolen base.

In three of the four wins for West Virginia, they have scored 10+ runs. That’s a good recipe for winning baseball games.
