Morgantown, WV – Moments ago, Rich Rodriguez and staff added yet another offensive weapon via the NCAA Transfer Portal. In a post on X, former Connecticut receiver John Neider announced his commitment to West Virginia University.
Neider, a Connecticut native, appeared in 26 games for the Huskies. After seeing action primarily on special teams in 2024, Neider put together a solid season on offense in 2025. Notching 27 catches, he accumulated 422 receiving yards and 2 receiving touchdowns.
Coming to Morgantown as a redshirt freshman, Neider have eligibility through the 2027 season.
