West Virginia linebacker Ben Bogle has officially declared his intention to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal.
With one year of eligibility remaining, the 6-foot-1, 220-pound defender is set to explore new opportunities as the transfer landscape continues to evolve in college athletics.
Bogle’s path to West Virginia was itself a product of the transfer portal. Originally from Ponte Vedra, Florida, he began his college career at Southern Illinois University (SIU), an FCS program where he quickly established himself as a tackling machine.
In his final season at SIU in 2024, Bogle racked up an impressive 105 tackles, 5.5 sacks, and two interceptions, earning him recognition as an FCS All-American.
During the 2025 season at WVU, Bogle contributed solidly, appearing in 12 games and recording 37 tackles, 5.0 tackles for loss, and 3 sacks.
