Morgantown, WV – The visits are beginning to pile up for Rich Rodriguez and the Mountaineers during this transfer portal window. With many already on the docket, the program will now host a safety out of the Mid-American Conference this week.
According to Matt Zenitz of 247Sports, Kent State’s Joel Cordoba will visit West Virginia University on January 7th. Cordoba, who will have three seasons of eligibility remaining, appeared in all 12 games for the Golden Flashes in 2025. Tallying 68 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, and a pass defended, the New Jersey possesses a skill set that could be a great asset to Zac Alley’s defensive unit.
