WVU Hires Rick Trickett to Coaching Staff

Morgantown, WV – Rich Rodriguez is hiring a fan favorite to be a part of his staff in Morgantown. According to Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports, the Mountaineer Football program is hiring Rick Trickett to be a member of their coaching staff. The role in which Trickett will fill has not yet been disclosed.

Trickett served as the offensive line and assistant head coach during Rodriguez’s first stint in Morgantown. He also previously coached at WVU during the late 1970s, leading both the offensive and defensive lines.

His son, Clint, played quarterback for the Mountaineers from 2013 to 2014. Travis, Clint’s older brother, is currently a part of WVU’s staff as an offensive analyst.
