MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — West Virginia announced the signing of defensive lineman Darius Wiley on Friday evening.
The 6-foot-7, 250-pound junior college transfer spent last season at Hutchinson Community College in Hutchinson, Kan. He recorded 49 tackles — 26 of them solo — while leading the Blue Dragons with 17.5 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks.

Wiley redshirted as a freshman and has three years of eligibility remaining.
He held offers from Michigan State, Arkansas, Syracuse, Purdue, Boise State, Memphis, Jacksonville State, Old Dominion, Arkansas State, Florida Atlantic, Western Michigan, Middle Tennessee State, Coastal Carolina and several others.
