WVU Bolsters Offense With Highly-Ranked Juco Prospects

By: Jonathan K. Martin | WV Sports Chat

In a major boost for the Mountaineers’ 2026 recruiting class, West Virginia has secured verbal commitments from two of the top junior college prospects in the country: Pearl River Community College (MS) wide receiver Kedrick Triplett and Copiah-Lincoln Community College (MS) running back Martavious Boswell.

Triplett, 6-foot-2, 205-pounds, caught 25 passes for 399 yards and five touchdowns this season. He is rated a three-star prospect by 247Sports and the nation’s No. 4 junior college receiver.

Boswell, who ranks as the third-best tailback in the 2026 JUCO cycle and the 41st overall player at that level, seems to be the perfect fit in the Rich Rodriguez fast-paced style of offense.
