West Virginia has secured a verbal commitment from class of 2026 linebacker Caleb Gordon.
Gordon, a 6-foot-0, 215-pound standout from Ashbrook High School (Dallas, NC), brings versatility and physicality to WVU’s linebacker corps. Rated as a three-star prospect by Rivals, Gordon has drawn comparisons to prototypical Big 12 defenders with his sideline-to-sideline speed and tackling.
He took an official visit to Morgantown on the weekend of the Colorado game, and recently narrowed his list of suitors down to West Virginia and Virginia.
Gordon had been previously committed to Arkansas, but backed off that pledge in September.
After careful consideration and talks with my family I’m excited to announce I’m 1000% committed to @WVUfootball Country Roads take me home!
