West Virginia has received a commitment from junior college standout wide receiver Kedrick Triplett.
The 6-foot-2, 205-pound pass-catcher from Pearl River Community College in Mississippi becomes the Mountaineers’ 30th commit, bolstering an already promising group with immediate-impact potential.
Triplett, originally hailing from Alabama, wasted little time making his pledge official following an official visit to Morgantown over the weekend. His decision caps a whirlwind recruitment process led by WVU inside wide receivers coach Logan Bradley, who extended a scholarship offer to the explosive playmaker on September 8.
The visit proved to be the tipping point for Triplett, who chose West Virginia over a slew of Power Four and Group of Five suitors including Utah, Arkansas, Nevada, Liberty, Texas State, Southern Miss, and Louisiana Tech.
Triplett is set to graduate in December and will have three years of eligability remaining.
