The West Virginia men’s basketball program has secured a spot in the top six schools for Miles Sadler, one of the most highly regarded point guards in the 2026 recruiting class.
The 6-foot-0, senior has West Virginia, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Maryland, USC, and UCLA in his final group.
Sadler, ranked No. 20 overall by Rivals and No. 26 by the 247Sports Composite, is a five-star prospect with a 0.9901 rating, cementing his status as the No. 3 player in Arizona and a top-tier point guard nationally.
The Toronto native’s recent official visit to Morgantown appears to have left a lasting impression, positioning the Mountaineers as serious contenders in this high-stakes recruitment battle.
A key factor in WVU’s appeal to Sadler is the strong relationship he shares with Mountaineer assistant coach Yusuf Ali. Both hailing from Toronto, Ali’s history as a coach and mentor to Sadler—having worked with him at the Toronto Basketball Academy and DeepEnd Training from 2012 to 2020—provides a personal bridge that could tip the scales in WVU’s favor.
