David Hagaman has had an interesting season and a stellar offseason so far in 2025.
Earlier this year, Hagaman, who pitched for the Mountaineers from 2023-2024, was traded from the Texas Rangers to the Arizona Diamondbacks.
The Rangers selected Hagaman in the fourth round with the No. 133 overall pick in the 2024 MLB Draft and a year later have shipped him out of the organization.
While with the Class-A Advanced affiliate Hillsboro Hops, Hagaman went 1-0 with 27 strikeouts and four walks over 20 innings of work.
Now, he is pitching in the Arizona Fall League and in his most recent outing worked three innings, allowing no runs on just one hit and striking out five along the way.
Hagaman is Arizona’s No. 15 prospect owned a 2.98 ERA across 13 starts in 2025, with 55 strikeouts to 10 walks.
In his first outing in the Arizona Fall League, he recorded 11 misses on 24 swings.
