MORGANTOWN, W.Va.– The West Virginia University basketball team announced its 2025–26 Big 12 men’s basketball schedule on Tuesday afternoon.
The Mountaineers will play 18 total games, with nine at the WVU Coliseum and nine on the road. Six of the nine home games will be held on either Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.
WVU will open Big 12 action with a tough road contest on Jan. 2 in Ames against Iowa State.
The Mountaineers’ first home conference game will be against Cincinnati on Tuesday, Jan. 6. WVU will also face Kansas State (Jan. 27) and Utah (Feb. 18) in midweek games.
Weekend home games include matchups with Kansas (Jan. 10), Colorado (Jan. 17), Baylor (Jan. 31), Texas Tech (Feb. 8), BYU (Feb. 28), and UCF (March 6).
This season, WVU will play Cincinnati, UCF, and Kansas State twice—once at home and once on the road.
The Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship is scheduled for March 10–14 in Kansas City, Missouri..
