MORGANTON, W.Va.-Aliou Dioum, a four-star prospect in the 2026 class, has announced his commitment to West Virginia University on Sunday afternoon.

The 6-foot-10 senior from Bella Vista Prep (Ariz.) ultimately chose Ross Hodge and the Mountaineers over Mississippi State, Syracuse, UNLV and Wake Forest. His offer list also included Arizona State, Georgia Tech, Missouri, Ole Miss, and several others.
According to the Rivals Top 150 Player Rankings, Dioum is the No. 80 recruit in the 2026 class and ESPN ranks him as the No. 15 center in the 2026 class.
He comes from Senegal originally and is known for being a strong defender in the paint.
Dioum officially visited WVU on August 30.
